Kathryn A. Barnsley, 83, a resident of Annapolis for 53 years, died Sept. 1 at Anne Arundel Medical Center after a long illness.
Ms. Barnsley was born March 22, 1921, in Baltimore. She was a graduate of Forest Park High School and the former Western Maryland College, now McDaniel College, and had been a physical education teacher for the Baltimore city school system.
She is survived by two nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway.
Burial is private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Anne Arundel Humane Society, 1815 Bay Ridge Ave., Annapolis MD 21403.
