Kathleen Malecki Sindall, 62, of Severna Park, MD lost her battle to cancer on January 24th, after struggling many years.

Kathy was born in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin to the late Robert and Billie Malecki. She grew up in Great Falls, Virginia and was a graduate of George C. Marshall High School and Virginia Tech.

Her early career was in the telecommunications industry with AT&T and MCI. She dedicated most of her life to raising her children and sharing time with friends and family. She enjoyed reading cooking, traveling, cheering for the Orioles and Ravens, and summers in Ocean City, Maryland.

She was preceded in death by her older sister Barbara Huntington.

She is survived by her husband Albert Sindall who she married on June 23, 1979; her three children Trey, Meghan, and Amy; daughter-in-law Lexi; and sister Susan Renda.

Family and friends may visit on Monday, January 28, 2013 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Pak Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at 10:00 am in St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park 21146. Interment will be in MD Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville.
