On January 24, 2018, Kathleen M. Pitt of Severna Park, beloved wife of James E. Pitt, passed away from complications relating to cancer.  She was born to John and Marian Youpatoff in Garfield, New Jersey.

She graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1965.  Kathy was employed for Anne Arundel County Public Schools as an educator for 30 years.  She was an assistant principal at Corkran Middle School, Old Mill Middle School, and Crofton Middle School.  She enjoyed following her husband's baseball coaching career.

Kathy is predeceased by her beloved son, Jimmy as well as her parents and brother.

Kathy enjoyed her home in Severna Park and winter home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Family and friends may visit on Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 1pm - 3pm at the Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy. A service to follow at 3pm in the funeral home.
