Kathleen B. Kohlhafer, 67, a resident of Arnold, died on December 21, 2010 at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.
She was born on February 8, 1943 in Baltimore, Maryland, and moved to Severna Park, graduating from Severna Park High School.
Mrs. Kohlhafer was employed with FutureCare Chesapeake. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Baltimore and volunteered with the Sunday School for St. Martin's in Annapolis.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Barrett.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Dick Kohlhafer; son, Scott Kohlhafer of Arnold; daughter, Karen Kohlhafer Bailey (Jim) of Severna Park; sisters Kathy Moreland of Arnold and Debbie Hoffner of Ellicott City; and one grandchild.
Family and friends may visit on Thursday, December 23rd from 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 24 at 10 AM at Christ Lutheran Church, 701 South Charles St. Baltimore, MD 21230. Interment will be in Loudon Park Cemetery in Baltimore.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 1041 Rt 3 N, Building A, Gambrills, MD 21054.
