Kathleen Barbara Elsey (Lapinski) passed away on August 11, 2020.
She was born to the late, Irene Lapinski and John Lapinski on November 13, 1966, in Washington, D.C.
Kathleen was raised in Annapolis, MD. She graduated from UMBC-UMUC and then went on to work as
at SAIC as a Senior Configuration Management Analyst. Kathleen was an animal lover (especially cats).
She also loved shopping, cathlete, social browsing and being a cat mom.

Kathleen is survived by her husband, Stanley (Dwayne) Elsey, of Bowie, MD; her father, John Lapinski, of
Severna Park, MD; her sisters, Suzanne Davis, of Gambrills, MD and Cindy Seyfferth, of Annapolis, MD;
her nieces, Lauren Seyfferth, of Annapolis, MD and Ashley Davis, of Gambrills, MD; and her aunt and
uncle, Shirley and Jerry Walters of Joppa, MD. She is also survived by her many cousins and family
members, including: Jacqueline and Chris Quigley, of Joppa, MD; Taryn, Rylee and Brody Quigley of
Joppa, MD; Stanley (Dwayne) Elsey, Sr., of Myrtle Beach, SC; and Charlotte May Elsey, of Myrtle Beach,
SC.

Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the SPCA of Anne Arundel County, 1815 Bay
Ridge Ave, Annapolis, MD 21403.

Friends may visit on Friday August 14, 2020 from 11:00am-2:00pm with a service to follow at 2:00pm at
Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A. 495 Ritchie Hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146.
Interment will be private.

Coronavirus Restrictions: As of June 5, 2020 .

A limit of 40 people inside the Funeral Home will be closely monitored for a seated funeral service.

Everyone must wear masks or cloth face coverings per the Maryland Mask Order.

If you feel sick, have a fever, or have exposed to someone with coronavirus within the past 14 days, please do not attend any viewing, visitations or services.
