Katherine (Katie) Joan Steffens tragically passed away December 26, 2008. She was the beloved daughter of Frank and Janet Steffens of Annapolis, MD, loving sister of Anne and Peter Squicciarini, Susan and Joe Dunigan, Skip and Jan Steffens and Mary Jane and J. Nicholas Nock. Katie was the favorite aunt of Lisa and Dan Mazzio, Peter Squicciarini, Mary Kate Squicciarini, Ian Nock and Bailey Nock.

Katie grew up in Sayville New York and graduated from S.U.N.Y. at Delhi with a degree in Hotel Management. She resided in Washington D.C. for over two decades were she was an integral part of the Reservations Department at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel.

Katie touched so many people with her loving heart, contagious smile and laugh and exuberant personality. Her fabulous worldwide travels with friends and family are what Katie lived for and enjoyed most. Words cannot express how much she will be missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life Mass will be held Saturday, January 3rd at 10 am at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Severna Park, Maryland
