Karin Lisbeth Gorman, 69, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 27, 1945 in Germany where she was raised before moving to Maryland.

Karin's passion was caring for children. For many years, she ran a day care center, allowing her to live out her passion for touching the lives of children. She cherished her time spent with her family and enjoyed cooking and shopping.

Karin is survived by her loving husband, Robert E. Gorman. She was a cherished daughter to her mother, Edeltraud Peatz. She is remembered fondly as a caring mother to her children, Michelle Wade, Robert T. Gorman (Donna), and Patricia Bate-Gorman. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Ryan Wade (Jessie), Tori Wade, Robert T. Gorman Jr., Fallen Gorman, Dezarea Gorman, Michael Bate, Justin Bate, and her great-grand children, Bradley Wade, Ellie Wade, and Joel Wade.

Family and friends may visit on Thursday, January 8, 2015 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm and 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Barranco and Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home.

A service will be held on Friday, January 9, 2015 at 12:00pm at the funeral home.

Following the funeral service, interment will take place at Maryland Veterans Cemetery Crownsville, 1122 Sunrise Beach Road, Crownsville, MD.
