Karen worked at MVA as an accountant in Glen Burnie, MD for more than 30 years where she had many friends. She had been an avid bowler and youth bowling coach at Severna Park Lanes, a past member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 175, enjoyed gardening, and loved to travel.



Karen will be missed by many that she considered part of her family especially those at Cromwell Center in Parkville, MD, where she was a resident the last five years of her life.



*Her family would like to sincerely thank her friends and extended family at Cromwell Center for the loving care they provided Karen while she was there.

She is survived by: son, James R. Redmond Jr. of Owingsmills,MD; sisters, Linda (Ken) Klein of Flintstone, Md; Debra (David) Undutch of Glen Burnie, MD; Barbara Russell of Chester,MD; Donna Russell of Arnold, MD; brother, Robert "Lee" (Judy) Russell of Annapolis, MD; grandson, Logan Redmond; nieces Erin, Elizabeth, Heather and Peggy; nephews Lee and Joe. uncle: Fred (Carol) Buser of Vineland, NJ.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday July 17, 2011 from 4-7:00pm at the Barranco & Sons Funeral Home.
