Karen Ann Heaphy, 48, of Severna Park, died of natural causes Nov. 18 at Anne Arundel Medical Center after a brief illness.
Born March 26, 1956, in Baltimore and reared in Severna Park, Mrs. Heaphy had worked in a dental office as a receptionist.
Among her interests were reading, watching old movies and growing houseplants.
She was the sister of the late Harry Edward Heaphy III.
Surviving are her fiance, Robert M. Sell of Severna Park; one son, Ryan R. Price of Bowie; one daughter, Jamie A. Redding of Crofton; two sisters, Donna Marie Martin of Lewes, Del., and Mary Frances Nichols of Jackson, N.J.; her father, Harry Heaphy of Annapolis; and one grandchild.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, where funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Park in Glen Burnie. Online condolences may be made at www. barranco
