Julia L. Pramschufer, 93, a 42-year resident of Baltimore and a 51-year resident of Severna Park passed away peacefully on March 2, 2016.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, William Pramschufer ,her son Ralph Pramschufer, her sister Vera Hirsch and her brothers William, Emil, and Robert Brettschneider, She is survived by children Betsy Kraning, Ron Pramschufer, Sharon Beall and 9 grandchildren, 9 great- grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Julia is a Western High School graduate and worked as a secretary for Baltimore Gas and Electric, Western Union, and MD- Del Council of Churches. She was active for over 30 years with Girl Scouts and a Charter Member of Severna Park Methodist Church where over the years she was active in choir, Bible School, Sunday School, Altar Guild, Arts and Crafts Circle, Learn and Share,United Methodist Women. Julia volunteered many years with Meals On Wheels, Red Cross Blood Mobile, and Christian Community Center. She enjoyed crafts, reading, travel and spending time with children and grandchildren.


A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Severna Park Methodist Church on March 6, 2016 at 1pm with refreshments to follow.

Friends may visit on Tuesday March 8, 2016 from 9-11:00am with a service to follow at 11:00am in the Barranco & Sons,P.A Severna Park Funeral Home 495 Ritchie Hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146. Interment in the Woodlawn Cemetery 2130 Woodlawn Dr, Baltimore, MD.
