Mrs. Judith Lan­­­e Barnes, age 79, of Severna Park, passed away Saturday, April 1, 2023 after a long illness.

She was born in Baltimore MD and raised by her mother Margaret Finn and beloved stepfather Wilbur "Bud" Finn. Her father was Robert Tase.  She was a graduate of the Sinai School of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse at Baltimore Wasington Hospital for 13 years and the Queen Anne's County Health Department for 25 years.

Judy, who  lived in Cape St. Claire for over 50 years and the Brightview Senior Living Community  in Severna Park for 2 years was devoted to her family and friends.  Spending time spoiling her 4 granddaughters was her favorite passtime.

Judy is survived by her husband of 59 years Ivan "Randy" Barnes, son Michael Barnes and daughter-in-law Jessica of Severna Park, daughter, Terri Leeds and son-in-law Richard  of Odenton and her beloved granddaughters Lauren, Brooke, Katie and Grace.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 10, 2023 at the Barranco Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 461 College Parkway, Arnold, MD 21012 at 10 a.m.  Burial will follow at the Lorraine Park Cemetery, 5608 Dogwood Road, Baltimore, MD 21207.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation and  the American Heart Association.
