Judith Arlene Luke, age 84, of Arnold, Maryland, formerly of Erie, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2025, at The Sheridan at Severna Park.

Born in Erie, PA, Judith was the beloved daughter of Louis Arthur Leone and Helen Yessue. She graduated from Strong Vincent High School and earned her nursing diploma from St. Vincent School of Nursing. With a heart for caregiving, Judith dedicated her career to nursing and touched countless lives with her compassion.

Judith deeply loved her husband, David C. Luke Sr. (Ret. Colonel, U.S. Air Force), and fully embraced the military life that came with his service. She took great pride in supporting his career, adapting with grace to the many places and people their journey brought into their lives. Her strength and resilience as a military spouse were a testament to her unwavering commitment to both family and country.

She also shared an incredibly close bond with her sister, Sandra Neumaier, with whom she spoke every single day. Their deep connection was a constant source of comfort, laughter, and love throughout Judith's life, and their relationship was one of her greatest joys.

A devout Catholic, Judith was active with St. Andrew by the Bay Church, where she was involved in social gatherings, volunteer activities, and provided childcare to families in her community. She especially enjoyed playing Bunco and participating in fellowship with friends and fellow church members.

Judith is survived by her loving daughter, Lori A. Luke, of Sudlersville, MD; and her son, David C. Luke Jr., of Derry, NH. She is also lovingly remembered by her nieces: Nancy Bird and Deborah Neumaier of Erie, PA; Susan Haynes of Spring, TX; Amy Krysa of Denver, CO; and Linda Mason.

Judith will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her kindness, and her lifelong dedication to serving others—both professionally and personally.
