Judith Lynn Luce, 74 of Severna Park, Maryland, passed away on August 12, 2013 after a brief illness at her home, surrounded by her family.

Judie was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia and graduated from Bethel Park High School (PA) in 1956 and Slippery Rock College in 1960. She moved to Severna Park in 1967.

Judie is survived by her husband of 50 years, Donald Luce of Severna Park; her daughters, Jennifer Plant (Richard) of Severna Park and Sarah Garner (Duane) of Cary, North Carolina, and her beloved grandchildren, Bailey Garner, Jacob Garner, and Whitney Claire Plant.

She was an active member of Annapolis Evangelical Presbyterian Church. She taught aerobic dancing for over forty years and enjoyed many kinds of dance. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren and could often be found racing around town in her little sports car. She loved to swim and kayak and was an avid dancer. Judie continued to dance until mere weeks before her death. She taught aerobics for Jackie Sorensen, AACC, and worked at The Giant Peach where she loved to see the children come in.

A memorial service will be held at Annapolis EP Church on Ridgely Avenue, Saturday, August 17, at 10 AM with a reception to follow in the fellowship hall.
