Judith Ann Weitzell (Judy), a longtime resident of Severna Park, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2021. She was born on January 10, 1937 to Arthur and Emma Hargett in Frederick, MD, where she was also raised. She attended Frederick High School, then later attended Towson University. She worked as part of the Clerk's staff at the Circuit Court, and was a lifetime member of the Earleigh Heights Ladies Auxiliary. Judy suffered from the effects of Alzheimer's Disease for over twenty years. Prior to that she was an avid reader, loved spending time with family and friends, and enjoyed vacationing in Ocean City, MD.

She was predeceased by her husband, William Weitzell, and her brother, Michael Hargett. She is survived by her children: Barry Weitzell and his, wife, Debi of Millersville, MD; Michele Skarwecki and her husband, Joe, of Daytona Beach, FL; Holly Hill and her husband, Steve, of Severna Park, MD; Gary Williams and his wife, Amy, of Los Angeles, CA; Terry Lessiak and her husband, Frank, of Port Orange, FL; Kevin Williams and his wife, Larysa, of Cocoa, FL; Mary Gent and her husband, Ken, of Annapolis, MD; Grant Williams and his wife, Patti, of Port Orange, FL. She is also survived by her sister, Dee Dee McCracken, and her husband, Kevin, of Stevensville, MD, her twenty grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren, as well as Janette Ventura and Dianne Whilby, who lovingly cared for her for over a decade.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
