Joyce Hunter (nee Perez), 68, a resident of Arnold, passed away on March 10, 2016, at her home.
She was born on July 22, 1947 in Baltimore, and raised in Glen Burnie.
Joyce was involved with child care and owned a non-profit organization Super Kid's Place, Inc. and worked with children for over 30 years.
She enjoyed working, spending time with her grandchildren, reading, crafts, spending time at the beach, and was an avid Redskins Fan.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Rose Perez.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Richard Hunter of Arnold; her children, Karen Lloyd and Kirk Hunter; and five grandchildren.

Family and friends may visit on Monday, March 14, 2016 from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, in Severna Park. Services and interment will be private.
