Joyce Mabel Hall, 82 of Pasadena, MD died peacefully on Sunday May 1st at Compass Regional Hospice of Queen Anne's County with her family at her side. She was born on October 18, 1933 in Liverpool, England. The daughter of the late Albert and Minnie Lingley (Murray). In her teenage years she occasionally babysat the late John Lennon of the Beatles Fame. In 1967 together with her husband and three children they emigrated to America, settling first in Severna Park, MD where she had her fourth child. She was active with the Ben Oaks Gardening Club serving as President, and the representative to the Board of the Garden Clubs of Maryland. She was actively involved with the Cub Scouts of America. She was an enthusiastic Ten Pin Bowler regularly participating in National Tournaments and was also a Board member of the Severna Park Women's Bowling Association.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Walter J. Hall, her children Walter S. Hall, Phillip J. Hall and his wife Leah M. Hall, Michael A. Hall and one grandchild Zachary A. Hall. She was predeceased by her son, Andrew A. Hall (October, 1982), her grandson Sgt. Jason D. Mileo-Hall U.S.M.C. (April, 2003) and also by her 3 sisters, Pat, Joan and Pam.
There will be a viewing at Barranco and Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, on Thursday, May 5, from 2:00 to 4:00pm and from 6:00 to 9:00pm. A Church service will take place Friday, May 6, 10:30am at Our Lady of the Chesapeake, 8325 Ventnor Road in Pasadena, MD with burial to follow in Meadowridge Memorial Park in Elkridge.
