Josephine Veronica Smith of Severna Park, MD, died, September 5, 2013 at the age of 91 in the LaCasa Assisted Living Facility in Annapolis after battling Dementia.

Born March 8, 1922 in Baltimore, and lived on Fort Avenue with her parents. She was the youngest of 10 children,

She Married Charles G. Smith Sr. in 1942 (1922-1998) they lived in Fort Ave 1942 and moved to Pasadena MD around 1952, where she lived until 2010 then moved to Severna Park with her son CG and his wife Sandy due to her illness.

She worked for Baltimore City for several years then left to raise her children. Once her children were old enough, she worked for Home Interiors Inc. until she retired around 1984. She enjoyed gardening, politics, traveling and family. She was a member Saint Jane Frances Church and a member of numerous senior citizen groups including Saint Jane Frances Seniors CASOS club.

She is pre deceased by her parents Joseph and Vincencia Faro and her
Siblings Catherine Dell'Acqua, Anthony "Tony" Faro, Mary Steigerwald, Annette Saverino, George Faro, John Faro, Salvadore "Sam" Faro and Ann Weeks.

Survived by her sister, Grace Burger; children Charles Smith Jr. and wife Sandra E Smith and Loredana Faro; grandchildren Veronica Scheminant, Crystal Bowen, James Scheminant and Timothy Cox. Step Grandchildren
Kristen Zuger and David Zuger; Great Grand Children
Jack Thomas, Damien Pannone, Austin Brehm, Dakota Brehm and Makayla Brehm; Step Grandchildren Hanna Dow, Adam Dow, and Chelsea Zuger.

Friends may visit on Sunday September 8, 2013 from 2-6:00pm at the Barranco & Sons,P.A Severna Park Funeral Home 495 Ritchie Hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146. Services will be held on Monday September 9, 2013 at 11:00am in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery.
