Josephine Mary McLewee, 78, of Severna Park and formerly of Amherst, N.H., from 1990 to 2002, died of cancer Feb. 2 at home after a two-year illness.
Mrs. McLewee was born July 24, 1926, and reared in Baltimore, where she attended St. Stanislaus Catholic School.
She retired from the former Baltimore News-American, where she worked in the accounting department. Previously she worked for Circuit Connect in Nashua, N.H., as a production technician.
Among her interests were gambling, slot machines and computer games.
On Jan. 30, 1947, she married Robert Charles McLewee, who died in 1978.
Surviving are two daughters, Sandra Lee Muscelli of Baltimore and Deborah McLewee Clutz of Nashua; one son, Robert Charles McLewee Jr. of Abingdon; two brothers, John Giza of Baltimore and Joseph Giza of Crisfield; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and 9 to 11 a.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway in Severna Park, where funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery in Baltimore.
