Josephine Wichot Barrie, 83, of Columbia, died of cardiac arrest April 23 at Howard County General Hospital.
Mrs. Barrie was a homemaker who was born Sept. 19, 1920 in Clifton, N.J., and had also lived in New Port Richey, Fla.
Surviving are her son, Joseph Barrie Jr. of Millersville; one brother, Peter Wichot of New Jersey; and three granddaughters.
She was the widow of Joseph Barrie Sr.
Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, where funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will be private.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Lung Association of Maryland, 1840 York Road, Suite M, Timonium, MD 21093.
