SGM Joseph Michael Pepe (US Army, Ret.), 86, of Millersville, MD passed away peacefully at his home on May 15, 2018.

Joseph was born on March 6, 1932 to Joseph Anthony Pepe and Virginia Valentino Pepe Filipovich in Brookfield, Ohio. Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Carol O'Hare Pepe, of 61 years; daughter, Aleda Marie Wainright; grandchildren, Brandy Wainright, Tara Wainright, Joey Pepe, and Jake Pepe; daughter-in-law, Lucie Pepe; and great-grandson, Cooper Rader. Joseph is also survived by his sister, Angeline Dobrovolec and many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his son, Jay Pepe and by his daughter, Jonell Pepe.

Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Barranco and Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 10am at MD Veterans Cemetery Crownsville, 1122 Sunrise Beach Road, Crownsville, MD 21032.
