It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart to announce the passing of Joseph E. Miller (Joe), who passed peacefully at his home on March 16, 2026 at the age of 71.

Joe was born on April 8, 1954 to Marjorie Van Gundy and Aubrey Miller in Charleston, South Carolina, but spent most of his childhood in Columbus Ohio. 

Joe later relocated to MD, and worked for Giant Food for 23 years. 

Upon retirement, he started his own handyman business. Joe had so many passions, especially music, antiques, vintage clocks, and chess.

 He has many fond memories of his band, Way Bak, in which he played bass and guitar. 

Joe is survived by his wife, Kimberly Miller. He is also survived by his children, Jason (Anne Marie), Kim (Jeff), Christy (Terence), and Lily. 

He is survived by 9 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren, as well as his brothers David and Mark.
