Joseph W. Crespo Jr, died on July 14, 2015 of complications of lung disease. He was born in 1946 in Atlanta, Georgia, the son of Joseph W. Crespo Sr and Frankie Puckett Crespo. He graduated from Grady High School and Lagrange College. A decorated veteran of the war in Vietnam, he served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1971. He was the sales manager for Associate Printers in Baltimore for 34 years.

In 1972, he married Virginia Gardner Crespo. He is survived by his wife, Virginia, son, Joseph Crespo III (Emily) of Baltimore, daughters, Anne Ingham (Jonathan) of Wilmington, North Carolina, and Sarah Crespo of New York City, his grandchildren Vincent Ingham, Sawyer Ingham, Celeste Crespo and Terra Crespo, and numerous beloved nieces and nephews and brothers and sisters-in-law. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister Sandra Price.

After retiring from the Printing Industry, Joe was able to pursue his favorite pastimes of woodworking, fishing, following NASCAR racing, and working in his gardens. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Saltwater Fishing Society.
Joe was always ready to help his neighbors, friends, relatives, and, especially, his nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit on Friday July 17, 2015 from 3-5 & 7-9:00pm at the Barranco & Sons,P.A Severna Park Funeral Home 495 Ritchie Hwy. Severna Park, MD 21146. A Mass of Christian burial will be Celebtared on Saturday July 18, 2015 at 11:00am in the St. Bernadette Parish 801 Stevenson Rd. Severn, MD 21144. Interment at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery at a later day.
