Schachnuk, John age 81 , Died on November 16, 2013. He was a native Baltimorian .

John is survived by his wife Joan Schachnuk; two children Mike Schachnuk and Patsy Nannen; brother Henry Schachnuk.
Three grandchildren; Tim Schachnuk, Travis Nannen and Zachary Nannen. One great grandchild
Sena Jane Schachnuk. Son In Law John Nannen, and one daughter in Law Cindy Schachnuk and one
granddaughter in law Elisa Schachnuk.

John enjoyed playing golf and was a member at Bay Hills Golf Club, He also was a member of the
American Legion.

For 37 years John was employed at Westinghouse as an electrical Engineer. Prior to that
he served in the United States Navy , traveling the world on the USS WASP.


Friends may visit on Tuesday November 19, 2013 from 2-4 & 6-8:00pm at the Barranco & Sons, P.A Severna Park Funeral Home 495 Ritchie Highway Severna Park, MD 21146. Services will be held on Wednesday November 20, 2013 at 11:00am in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment in the New Cathedral Cemetery.
