"JB" of Arnold, MD, died peacefully on Monday, February 22, 2010 at his son's home
surrounded by family and friends. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife,
Rosemary Holub Magner and his sister, Jane Magner Brown. Surviving family includes his son Jay Barron Magner of Severna Park, MD, his daughter Alicemarie Scott of Centreville, MD and his five grandchildren, Shane, Taylor and Hannah Scott, and Erin and Colleen Magner. Also, survived by his brothers, Edward "Chic" Magner of Rockville, MD and Christopher Magner of Washington, DC. He spent the past two years traveling, laughing and enjoying life with his California Angel, Judy Cunniff. He is a graduate of Gonzaga High School and Mount Saint Mary's College.

Friends may visit at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home from 10-11 AM on Friday, February 26th. A memorial service and celebration of his life will follow at
