It is with a heavy heart that our family announces the death of John W. Keith, 72, who passed away peacefully on the morning of Thursday, January 9, 2020 at his home in Annapolis, Maryland.

John is survived by his wife, Frances, of 50 years; three sons, John, Marc and his wife Angela, and Matthew; and five grandchildren, Olivia, Luke, Payton, Jack, and Ben.  John was preceded in death by his parents, John H. and Mildred Keith, and his daughter-in-law, Kimberly Keith.

John was born in Baltimore and grew up in Ferndale, Maryland.  He graduated from Andover High School in 1965 and the University of Maryland in 1969, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree.  He later earned a Master's in Business Administration from Loyola College.  John worked at Bethlehem Steel for twenty years before starting his own business, Harbour Steel Services in 1991.  John was an avid reader, enjoyed golfing, vacationing in Ocean City, rooting for the Orioles and Ravens, and spending time with friends and family.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Monday, January 13, 2020 from 2:00pm-4:00pm & 6:00pm-8:00pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A. 495 Ritchie Highway in Severna Park, MD 21146.  A Memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at 11:00 am. In the funeral home chapel.
