John A. Karr, 93, a 25 year resident of Severna Park, died on May 14, 2011 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie.
He was born February 26, 1918 in Three Rivers, MA and graduated from Syracuse University and the Columbia University in NY.
He was a member of the Polish Heritage Club in Baltimore and the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Eleanor Karr; his children, Maryann Schimpff (Paul) of Wynnwood, PA and Joan Ott (Thomas) of Arnold, MD; and five grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, May 19, 2011 at 11 AM at
St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park.
Interment will follow in Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville, MD. Arrangements made by Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home.
