John Edwin Iaquinta passed away at home after a brief illness on January 9, 2020.  He was born to Frank and Helen Iaquinta on October 13, 1945 and was raised in Oxon Hill, MD. He attended Oxon Hill High School, then later studied at PG Community College.

John worked in Construction Management and was a volunteer fireman at the Allentown Road Volunteer Fire Department. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by his son, John Michael Iaquinta; his two daughters, Tracy Henderson and Jennifer Smith; his sister, Betty Lou Davis; his grandchildren, Nick Gardner, Justine Gardner, Brady Smith, Jillian Smith and Gavin Smith; as well as his beloved Labrador Retriever Maddy. He was predeceased by his younger brother,  Frank "Lucky" Iaquinta.
