John W. "Pop" Grahe, Sr., 75, a resident of Severna Park passed away on May 27, 2012 at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD.

He was born on March 9, 1937 in Baltimore. John was a self-employed Master Builder. He was a duck hunter, bass fisherman, and an avid fan of Baltimore Ravens and Orioles. He enjoyed eating crabs and he loved his dog Dawney.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Evelyn Grahe; four daughters, Evelyn Burnopp (Richard) of Linthicum, Sherry Thompson (Timothy) of Pasadena, Barbara Alton (Terry) of Arnold, Nora Grahe (Rick) of Florida; two sons, John Grahe, Jr. of Arnold and Milton Grahe (Amy) of Port Deposit; three sisters; one brother; fifteen grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Family and friends may visit on Friday, June 1, 2012 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Glen Haven Memorial Park in Glen Burnie.
