John Patrick Dugan "Pat", age 86, formerly of Glenndale Maryland, passed away Friday August 22, 2025.

He was a graduate of Dematha High School in 1957. Pat joined the Navy working on aircrafts as an electrician, serving on the first nuclear powered carrier, the USS Enterprise. He received an electrical engineering degree from Prince George's Community College. After his military service, Pat became an electrician at Johnson Controls spanning over a thirty-five year career with the company. He was a member of the Steamfitters Local #602 union.

Pat was an active member of the Glenndale Golf Club, where almost every day he could be found on the green. If he was not on the green, he was in the club playing cards with his friends. Later in life Pat started camping with his brother Jim, spending several winters in Florida.

He is preceded in death by his parents James and Margaret Dugan, along with his siblings Joan, Eileen, and Jim. He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Paul Meng, Curt Meng, Tracey Porter, Tara Arnold, Kathryn Nejedlo, Timothy Dugan, Colleen Dugan, and Margery Blancke.

Funeral services will be held at Arlington National Cemetery, more details will be provided at a future date.
