John Charles "Jack" Eichhorn, aged 81, passed away on August 29, 2024, in Severna Park, MD. Born on March 5, 1943, in Baltimore, MD, he was a beloved figure in his community, known for his kind, gentle spirit and a warm smile that could light up any room.

Jack graduated from Mount St. Joe's in Catonsville, MD, and furthered his education at the University of Baltimore. Professionally, Jack was a Certified Public Accountant, where he made significant contributions to the Rates and Budgets department at both Westinghouse and Northrop Grumman.

A devout Catholic, Jack was actively involved in his church community, embodying the teachings of his faith in his daily life. He was a family man at heart, a devoted husband to his late wife, Joan Donohue Eichhorn, and a loving father, grandfather, and brother. Jack is survived by his daughter Rani Ruby, son-in-law Mike Ruby, grandsons Max, Cole, and Graham Ruby; daughter Ashley Eichhorn, grandchildren Sadie Thompson and Patrick Scullin; sister Mary Carole Eichhorn Kirkpatrick; and niece Kim Larrick. He was preceded in death by his brother George Albert Eichhorn III "Bert," and his parents Mary Jo Broderick and George Albert Eichhorn Jr.

Jack's hobbies included golfing with his late dear brother Bert, gathering with friends and family, spending cherished moments with his grandsons, enjoying the beach, reading, and engaging in discussions about politics. He was also a fan of savoring a "little splash of red" while watching his favorite teams, the Ravens and the Orioles. Jack also contributed his time and talents to his and his wife's favorite Community theatre group, September Song, by acting as their treasurer and avid patron.

Family & friends may visit on Thursday, September 5, 2024 from 6 pm to 8 pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A., 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park, MD 21146.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 6, 2024 at 2 pm in the funeral home.

Interment will be private.
