John Frank Broglie, Jr., of Pasadena passed away on November 11, 2021 at the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center. He was born on March 18, 1951 to John Frank Broglie, Sr. and Norma Broglie in Baltimore, MD. He was raised in Parkville, MD and had lived in Glen Burnie, MD before he resided in Pasadena, MD. He attended St. Michael's School in Overlea, before attending high school at Archbishop Curley. He then went to Towson University to earn his Bachelor's degree. John worked at the Social Security Administration as a contract specialist for over 30 years before his retirement.

John loved the Christmas Holiday, especially celebrating with music, decorations, and watching various Christmas movies. He enjoyed watching sports such as hockey, soccer, and football.  He also enjoyed tending to his yard and collecting model firetrucks. He attended Baltimore Blast games and was a season ticket holder since 2015.  John loved history, and he was especially interested in the Civil War and World War II time periods.  He loved to share his knowledge with others.  He also enjoyed annual fall trips with his family to pick apples and pumpkins. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, with whom he loved to dote on and laugh.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Deborah A. Broglie; his sons John "Jay" W. Broglie of Waldorf, MD, and Jeffrey M. Broglie of Columbia, MD; his brother William Broglie of Ellicott City, MD; as well as his grandchildren, Lily, Noah, Finley, Charlotte and Jacob.

A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, November 28, 2021 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A., 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD, 21146. A prayer service will be held at 3:30pm at the funeral home. Interment is private.
