John J. Blecki, 49, previously a resident of Severna Park, died at his home in Wilmington, NC.
He was born on August 25, 1961 in Detroit, Michigan to his parents, Paul and Anne Blecki, was raised in Severna Park, and graduated from Severna Park High School.
He attended Anne Arundel Community College for two years and Towson State University.
Mr. Blecki enjoyed fixing and repairing boats.
He is survived by his parents, Paul and Anne Blecki; his brothers, Tom Blecki (Sue) of Erie, PA and Jim Blecki (Karen) of Lewis, DE. Also, he is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy, Severna Park.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 5, 2010 at Severna Park United Methodist Church at 731 Benfield Road. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Annapolis, MD.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Severna Park Community Center, P.O. Box 691, Severna Park, MD 21146.
