Jodi Elizabeth Listmann, age 49, passed away February 11, 2021 after a courageous three year battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

Jodi was born December 1, 1971 in Rochester, NY to Jan and Ed Hryn. Jodi married husband Franke Listmann on September 28, 1997. They had two wonderful children Breanna and Andrew who were the light of her life. In addition to her parents, her devoted husband and children, she is survived by her brother Jon Hryn, his wife Molly and their children. She is also survived by her law's Frank and Diana Listmann.

Jodi was a longtime resident of Severna Park. She graduated Severna Park High School in 1991. Jodi attended Anne Arundel Community College to pursue her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She later received a degree as a Surgical Tech in the Operating Room. Jodi had recently returned to school to become a Surgical First Assist. Jodi worked at Anne Arundel Medical Center for twenty three years. She was a dedicated and hardworking employee. She was always willing to do whatever was asked of her and made many lifelong friends throughout the years. Jodi always made a lasting impression on her colleagues with her friendship and giving spirit.

Jodi was above all a devoted wife and mother. She loved to talk about Breanna and Andrew whenever she was given the opportunity and always made it apparent how unbelievably proud she was of them. She loved to cheer Andrew on at all of his football games and enjoyed being involved in Breanna's cheerleading and horseback riding. Jodi made it a priority to spend quality time with Franke. One of their favorite things to do was to have dinner and spend time with her friends at Shooters. She had an obsession with her three loyal dogs, Monster, Oliver and Mini. Jodi enjoyed traveling and especially loved spending Thanksgiving with family in Jekyll Island, Georgia. Over the years, some of her most memorable trips were on cruises, trips to Alaska and Key West. She enjoyed going anywhere that had a beach where she could put her toes in the water! Jodi loved her truck and her favorite color was purple. She perfected the art of making delicious pepper jelly and always gave thoughtful handmade gifts at Christmas time.

Most of all, Jodi loved people. No matter what she was going through she took the time to ask others how they were doing and was truly interested in what they had to say. Jodi had a heart of gold and was a true friend always. She had a beautiful smile and a huge heart that touched the lives of so many who were fortunate enough to know her!
