JoAnn Blocher, 78, a long-time resident of Arnold, formerly of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, died on Tuesday September 1, at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, of natural causes.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-one years, John W. Blocher, three daughters, Elizabeth Blocher McCabe of Gibsonia Pennsylvania, Jacquelyn Blocher-Moran of Severna Park, and Stephanie Peltzer of Parkton; one sister, Ponsella Ewing of Uniontown Pennsylvania; and three grandchildren, Luke, Sophia, and Owen.

Family and friends may visit from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, September 6 at Barranco & Sons, P.A. Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park. A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, September 7 at 10:00 a.m., St. Andrew by the Bay Catholic Church, Annapolis. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrew by the Bay Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville.
