Joan Mahalik

Joan T. Mahalik, 67, died of natural causes June 22 at her home in Arnold.

Born Feb. 27, 1938, and raised in Washington, D.C., Mrs. Mahalik was a homemaker and resident of Arnold for 12 years. She served as president of the Pine Valley board of directors. She loved animals and redecorating and was known for her friendship.

Her first husband, Robert L. McKinnell, died in 1976.

Surviving are her second husband, Paul David Mahalik; one son, William Patrick Mc- Kinnell of Peach Tree City, Ga.; one daughter, Kelly A. Bigley; three brothers, Joe Torregrossa of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Mike and Johnny Torregrossa of Fort Myers, Fla.; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 620 N. Bestgate Road. Burial will be private. Arrangements are by Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home.
