Joan Beth Boyer 86, longtime resident of Anne Arundel County, MD, died peacefully on Thursday, April 13, 2023.

Joan married the love of her life, Charles W. Boyer in 1962. They were longtime members at Severna Park United Methodist Church, where they were active in the Marriage Enrichment Ministry, and she served as a Stephen Minister. After many years as a homemaker, Joan went on to pursue a career in early childhood education.

Joan enjoyed traveling, reading & cheering on her favorite Baltimore sports teams, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Beth Kellermeyer, her grandchildren, Daniel Boyer (Kristen), Jordan Kellermeyer (Kathy), Whitney Cabral, Kyle Kellermeyer (Claudia), and Dakota Kellermeyer and her great-grandchildren Mason Boyer, Kennedy Boyer, Addison Boyer, Oliver Cabral, and Mae Kellermeyer

Family and friends may visit on Friday, April 21, 2023 from 10am to 12pm at the Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A., 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146. A funeral service for Joan will follow at 12pm. Interment will be held at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 7215 Ritchie Highway, Glen Burnie, MD 21061.
