Joan (Scott) Anthony of Arnold, formerly of Pittsburgh, Pa, died on October 10, 2010 at BWMC after an extended illness.
She was born on August 12, 1931 to her parents, the late Manus and Mary-Alice Scott. She graduated from St. John School of Nursing and entered the nursing profession in 1958
Joan was employed as a head floor nurse at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh until complete hearing loss forced her into disability retirement. She was a faithful member of Antioch, The Apostolic Church in Arnold. She enjoyed church activities, watching the Steelers, and spending time with her family and friends.
Joan is survived by daughter Theresa (Traci), married to Bruce Ellenberger, and two grandchildren, Rachel and Jordan.
A memorial service is scheduled for 12:00 noon on Thursday, October 14th at Antioch, The Apostolic Church, 1535 Ritchie Highway.
