Jill Dorothy Tomsuden passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on March 22, 2022.

She was born to John and Marjorie (nee Silversides) Hands in Tunbridge Wells, England on July 5th, 1937. She was raised in Folkestone England and moved to France after graduating from high school. She later moved to the US and started a family living in Poughkeepsie, NY for many years before moving to Severna Park. Without much formal training, she began her career as a secretary and ended it as a Vice President with Essex Credit, a marine finance company. She retired to spend more time doing the things she loved like gardening, watching tennis matches, caring for her pets, and spending time with her family.

Jill is survived by her daughters Carla Lowman (Greg) of Linthicum MD, and Karen Evans of Gaithersburg MD; her sons Christopher Tomsuden of Park City, UT and Andrew Tomsuden (Laura) of Madison, MS; as well as eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Family and friends may visit on Saturday April 2, 2022 from 4-8pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A.,  495 Ritchie Hwy Severna Park MD, 21146. Interment is private.
