Jerry Lee Sparks, 78, a resident of Severna Park, died on September 7, 2011 at his home.
He was born on September 4, 1933 in Jodie, WV and he served in the U.S. Army for 20+ years.
Mr. Sparks was the owner of Arundel Builders for more than 20 years.
He enjoyed playing golf and was a member of the Kiwanis.
He is survived by his son, Robert Sparks of Severna Park; daughters, Barbara Berlett (Tim) of Virginia, Susan Karcher (John) of Maryland, Deborah Trently (Kevin) of New Jersey, and Judy Motta (Chris) of Easton, MD; siblings, Macel Ramsey of Trenton, IL, Jack Sparks of Hollister, MO, Gale Sparks, Fort Wayne, IN, and Peggy Loyd of Saint Albans, WV; and twelve grandchildren.
Family and friends may visit on Monday, September 12, 2011 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco and Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park.
Interment will be at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA.
