Jenny Helene Folstad, 93, of Severna Park, died April 21 at House of Angels Assisted Living in Severna Park.
Born April 16, 1913, in Borge, Norway, Mrs. Folstad was reared in Brooklyn, N.Y., and at one time also lived in Springfield, Mass., St. Louis, Mo., Hamburg, N.Y., and Vernon, Conn.
Mrs. Folstad was an active member of Severna Park United Methodist Church and a past member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Connecticut.
Her interests included attending folk, square and round dancing clubs.
The widow of Trygve Folstad, she is survived by one daughter, Kristine Folstad Johnson of Severna Park; one son, Sigurd Folstad of Vernon; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Henry Johnson of Connecticut; and one sister, Clara Thoraldsen of North Carolina. She was the twin sister of Anne Lehman, who died in April 2005, and the sister of the late Dagmar Selmer.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. June 25 at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. Burial will be private.
