Jeffrey Randolph Strickland passed away on August 26 2021, his 47th birthday.  Jeff leaves behind his two daughters, Emily Lynn Strickland and Hailey Louise Strickland, his parents Suzanne Strickland (Norm) and Randy Strickland (Kathy), his sister Jennifer Strickland Heafey (Brian), his nephews Luke and Jack, and his loving partner, Kim Thompson.  Jeff was very fortunate to also have caring aunts, uncles and cousins who watched over him when his mom and dad were living out of town. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Hazel and Luther Immler of Severna Park and Mary and Bill Strickland of Easton, MD.

Jeff was born in Washington, DC, raised in Annapolis, and spent most of his life in the Annapolis area.  He worked for many years in the grocery and sales industries and had most recently started a career with JES Foundations in Baltimore County.

He had an impressive comic book collection, enjoyed fishing in the Chesapeake Bay, and loved animals, especially Kim's dog, Champ.

His charismatic personality served him well with his family, friends and coworkers and he will be greatly missed by his family and all who loved and cared for him.

Jeff had periodic struggles with substance abuse; however, in recent years he had made great strides to address his physical and mental health issues.  He just ran out of time to complete his work before a medical condition took him.  If you would like to honor Jeff, please consider a donation to an organization which supports those with similar challenges.
