Jeffrey (Jeff) passed away on May 26, 2023 at Johns Hopkins Bayview Hospital after complications due to surgery.

He was born July 15, 1948 in Manchester Connecticut. He was the son of the late Ward and Dana Green. Jeff graduated from Gettysburg College. After College he spent six years in the PA National Guard.

When he finished his tour in the National Guard, he got his pilot license and became a certified scuba diver. Jeff then travelled the country, before beginning his career with Verizon in Harrisburg, PA, where he met his wife, Linda. They married in 1979 and lived in Camp Hill where his daughter Katie was born. Jeff worked as a Sales Engineer and in 1986 Verizon moved him to Maryland. He continued to work for Verizon until he retired in 2003. Jeff enjoyed cooking, traveling and spending time with his family. In retirement Jeff traveled up and down the east coast from Maine to Florida visiting friends and family along the way. Audrey, Jeff's granddaughter was born in 2012. Her birth changed his travel plans. Jeff's travel was more local, always including time to spend with Audrey. Spending time with his granddaughter was time he loved dearly. Jeff is survived by his wife Linda, one daughter Katie and her husband Murray Hunt, Jr. and their daughter, Audrey of Pasadena, MD. He is also survived by his sister Carolyn Anstine and Lawrence Decker of Camp Hill, PA and his brother Ward E. Green III and his wife, Joanne of Clermont, FL. Jeff is also survived by an extended family that he truly cherished.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jeffrey's life on Friday, June 2nd, 2023 from 3pm to 5pm at Barranco Severna Park Funeral Home & Cremation Care, P.A., 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 3rd, 2023 at 10:30am at St. John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 689 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD, 21146.
