Jeffery Charles Claypool passed away from injuries he suffered from a fall at his home near Ocean City, MD on March 23rd, 2025.

Born on July 4th, 1959, in California, he grew up in Severna Park, Maryland, in a home on the Severn River, where he enjoyed a wonderful childhood. He attended the Severn School, served 4 years in the US Airforce in Valdosta, Georgia, and later graduated from culinary school in Baltimore. While in Ocean City, he worked for the Carousel Hotel and in a local hardware store. He also enjoyed volunteering his time dressing as the Grinch at the Carousel during Christmas. He also cared for his father during the last year of his life during the Covid pandemic until his death in 2021. An affectionate, emotional, and loving person, he truly loved people and cherished his family. He loved spending time at the beach on Assateague Island with his dog, Leigha.

He is survived by his son and daughter, Charles Ashley Claypool and Savannah Marie Claypool, grand-daughter, Emma Price, and brother, David Claypool. His extended family includes Lexie and Elijah Miller, Adam and Nicole Dubuque, Devin, Courtney, Dominic, Giovanni Lascola, and October Fuller. He is predeceased by his parents Vivian and Charles Claypool, as well as his wife, Charlotte Claypool.
