IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jeanne Lee
Richhart
June 23, 1946 – December 22, 2024
Jeanne Lee Richhart passed away on December 22, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on June 23, 1946 in Lancaster Pennsylvania to Donald R. Myers Sr. (a WWII Purple Heart Veteran) and Pearl H. Myers (Ulmer). Jeanne grew up in Lancaster and graduated from J.P. McCaskey High School in the class of 1964. She began working for the Treasury Department in Washington D.C. where she met her husband of 59 years, Robert G. Richhart, at the Marine Base in Quantico. They moved to Fort Wayne Indiana, where they welcomed their two children, Teresa and Chad. She attended Pasadena United Methodist Church. She retired from Graybar Electric in 2010.
In addition to being a loving Mother and Nanny, Jeanne had a green thumb. She loved to garden, tend to her plants, and work in the yard. She was also very creative and enjoyed Do-It-Yourself projects and decorating her home. She also enjoyed crocheting and making blankets for her family. She loved to travel, take road trips to visit family in Pennsylvania, go to the beach, and have family cookouts by the pool. She would always cheer on her grandkids at their sporting events.
There are no words to describe the void that is left by her passing, and she will be forever missed by those that knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Robert Richhart of Severna Park, MD; her daughter Teresa Cain (and her husband Michael) of Pasadena, MD; her son Chad Richhart of Severna Park, MD; her four grandchildren, Joshua Cain of Pasadena, MD, Victoria Richhart of Severna Park, MD, Aaron Cain of Round Rock, TX, and Brandon Cain (and his wife Erica) of Mooresville, NC; her sister Judy Sandstrom (and her husband James) of Lititz, PA; and her five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Janet Myers, and her brother Donald Myers.
