Jean May Persinger, 76, a resident of Severna Park, passed away on February 22, 2021 at Hospice of the Chesapeake in Pasadena, MD.

She was born on December 23, 1944 in Baltimore and was raised in Dundalk, MD. Jean attended Gray Manor Elementary and graduated from Dundalk High School. She previously lived in Glen Burnie before residing in Severna Park.

Jean was an editor/writer for the Department of Defense. She enjoyed playing Mahjong, Canasta, and golf. She loved cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family. Jean was a member of the Spring Run Golf Club in Estero, FL, and the Fleet Reserve Ladies Auxiliary in Annapolis, MD.

She is survived by her husband, William Persinger of Severna Park; two sons, Gregory Persinger  (Michelle) of Severna Park and Keith Persinger of Pasadena, MD; two granddaughters, Julia Persinger of Severna Park  and Kaitlyn Persinger of Severna Park; her sister, Ina Bober of Pasadena; and her brother, Edwin Johannes of Dundalk, MD. Late sister Linda Hensley.

The family will be holding a Private Mass.

A public Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
