Mrs. Greene was born and reared in Mooresville, N.C., where she graduated from Mooresville High School. She moved to Arnold in 1961 after her marriage to C. Norman Greene.
In addition to being a homemaker, she worked as a circulation representative for the Anne Arundel County Public Library, retiring in the early 1990s.
She was past president of the Annapolis District of the United Methodist Women and a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Arnold. She enjoyed reading, playing bridge and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, surviving are one daughter, Carol Greene of Bridgeville, Del.; two sons, Paul and Mark Greene, both of Arnold; one brother, P. Irvin Brawley of Davidson, N.C.; one sister, Marsha Deaton of Mooresville; and three grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Asbury United Methodist Church, 78 Church Road, Arnold.
