In 1976 when Mr. Bell became plant manager and president of Alco Gravure Printers in Glen Burnie, the couple moved to Chartwell in Severna Park.

They were members of the Chartwell Golf and Country Club, where she played tennis and with the ladies' 18-hole group. She also enjoyed bridge and socializing with friends and neighbors.

In recent years she was a resident of Sunrise Assisted Living in Severna Park and then Genesis Eldercare.

Surviving are her children, Robert C. Bell Jr. of New Fairfield, Conn., Philip M. Bell of Pittsburgh, Hazel Bell Scudder of Norwalk, Conn., Douglas E. Bell of New York City and Bradley S. Bell of Severna Park.
