Stephen Jason Atkins, known to friends and family as Jason, passed away on May 15, 2022. He was born on December 10, 1975 to Stephen R. and Sheryl "Sherry" Atkins (later known as Sherry Knick).

Jason loved sports; especially football (Redskins and Ravens) and baseball (Orioles). He also enjoyed going to car shows, hunting and fishing. Most of all though, Jason always looked forward to time with family and friends; he never missed a cook out!

Jason is survived by his wife, Lori Atkins, his children, Jason, Nathan and Payton; his father, Stephen R. Atkins, his grandmother Rose Brice, his brothers, Jeremy Knick, David Knick and Michael Atkins; his sister, Ashley Atkins Holland; his aunt Martha "Motsie" Kolbe, who was like a second mother to him; his cousins, Jim Kolbe and Krystle Kolbe; his uncle Tony Atkins; and his cousin, Josh.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. at Calvary Community Church, 3272 Riva Road, Riva, MD, 21140. Interment is private.
