Janice Laurine Wolf is mourned by all whose lives she touched.

Janice, beloved wife of William Ernest Ruxton, was born December 5, 1946 to the late William C. Maske and the late Laurine Daigle Maske. She is the widow of Richard Neal Wolf.

Janice graduated from the University of Maryland as a Licensed Practical Nurse and spent a lengthy career of caring service at Prince Georges General Hospital, Anne Arundel General Hospital, the Bello Machre and Langdon Green centers and the Heartlands assisted living facility. Her dedication of service to others did not end with her retirement in 2004, as she continued to show her love and compassion to all those around her. Her spirit of fun and adventure never dimmed, engaging in canoeing, skydiving, and physical fitness activities, as well as volunteer work for many different charities. She fought and overcame more than her share of traumas and illnesses and once was close enough to glimpse Heaven, but returned to us to continue to share her love until now finally called to return to God. She peacefully breathed her last in the presence of her husband at the Hospice of the Chesapeake on January 10, 2017, after a brief illness. Her smile and joy for life lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 14 years, her daughter Nicole Wolf Garcia, brothers William, Carl and Gary Maske, and sisters Sally Radich and Phyllis Sevik. Her sister Vicki Wonders passed away in 2012. She is also survived by granddaughter Madison Garcia, step-daughter Beth Ruxton, step-son Michael Ruxton, grandson Jonah Ruxton, step-mother Barbara Maske, and step-sisters Deborah Shockley and Terry Hermanson, and son-in-law Marc Garcia and daughter-in-law Jeri Goodman.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday January 14, 2017 from 4:30-6:00pm at the Barranco & Sons,P.A Severna Park Funeral Home 495 Ritchie hwy Severna Park, MD 21146.
