On March 27,2022 Janice Marie Uhlig passed away peacefully. Janice was born in North Carolina on April 2, 1941, to Julius and Emma Eldridge. She graduated from Catonsville High School. She was a long-time resident of Severna Park. She was known to many from her early days volunteering at school events, from working in the Severna Park Safeway deli and working as a barista in a small coffee shop. She had a wonderful relationship with all her friends, especially those referred to lovingly as the "Bagel Babes". She had the most radiating smile and the kindest heart. She loved with all she had.

She is survived by her daughters Jennifer Hey (Greg) and Amy Kunkel (Chris). She is also survived by her grand children Meghan Wall, Gavin Grimes, Sophia Grimes, and Logan Kunkel. She is also survived by her brother Jake Eldridge and her nieces and nephews and their children. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, her stepfather Pete Shiloh, sister Agnes McNellis, and grandson Jake Ryan Wall. In lieu of flowers please donate to the animal shelter of your choice or to a suicide prevention program.

Janice wished to be cremated and have a celebration of life in her honor. The celebration of life will take place on May 1,2022 at Boone Station Hall, from 1-6 pm, 623 Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard, Severna Park, MD 21146.
